Georgie Girl dancewear started in June 2014 in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia by Micheala Walsh and Patsy Carter. Micheala owned a dancestore and found that her customers were often looking for something different from the usual brands, and they were often looking overseas to buy dance wear.

Micheala realised that to keep her customers coming back, she needed to creat something new and exciting in Australia, so joined forces with local, experienced seamstress Pasty , who has been sewing and pattern making dancewear for over 15 years, before they knew it Georgie Girl was created .

Georgie Girl's mission is to create fun, fresh, dynamic class /studio wear , using only high quality supplex /lycra sourced here in Australia. Georgie Girl is Australian designed and made and is always looking at keeping it fresh with new colours and designs .
